BigWigs

Alright i’ll keep this quick, I have no idea on how I want to format or structure these lessons or guides about AddOns but lets just get started and see what we get.
First, lets dig into the main settings for BigWigs, start by typing ‘/bw’

Now, as you can see I hide everything on this screen, it’s a lot of noise letting your screen flash be turned on so I prefer to get it outta here. Same with Zone Messages, letting me know that a module loaded, I will know that if something is broken so lets hide it otherwise. You get the idea.

Next we’re going to rapid fire disable features that while useful in the past, produce a ton of noise and distraction now, totally un-needed in current raiding.

All of that I disable, not because it isn’t useful in some small way, but that between ERT, intuition and watching my general surroundings I dont need that stuff, so lets get it out of the way and move on to the stuff we DO use!

Bars – I don’t change much. Emphasized Bars are more important than regular bars, we can limit the amount of bars shown, and when, so theyre easier to control. Let me show you.

Lastly before we dig into the current Raid Tier BoD, and go over specific bosses, the last thing I do is trim down the noise of BigWigs.

For all bosses, I will show you what I turn on, and what I do with it, everything else is assumed off.

Here are all of the bosses our guild has killed on Mythic or are close to a kill, i’ll update as we progress but you get the idea that I am stripping down abilities that don’t concern me or turning down abilities that don’t need to be so loud. BigWigs is a full feature addon that allows for full user customization going into a raid, setting it and forgetting is probably the worst idea becasue you’re seeing everything for every role.
